Cherry Moon General Store

Lovely morning spent enjoying the tasty treats of the very cool Cherry Moon general store. This is a busy cafe as there are lots of customers coming for the amazing selection of bread..and their incredible cakes.. but thankfully you can sit in (or outside) and enjoy a slice of the same cakes! Staff are lovely and friendly and there is plenty of free 1 or 2 hour parking nearby. Coffee and tea selection is expansive and well made so it's the perfect start to the day. We had the (apparently 4th best in Sydney) croissant, pain au chocolate and the plum pie. I'd definitely put the croissant higher, so delicate and buttery, I only had a taste, can't do dairy like I want to! The pie with a creme fraiche topping was amazing! Almond chai was really good too

One of the best danishes I’ve had in a very long time. Pastry was crispy and fresh. Generous portion of custard and fresh berries. Coffees were made very well too. Staff were friendly. Cute mellow local ambience. The perfect Sunday spot.

I was looking for a good sourdough and a friend recommended this bakery. Their signature sourdough wrapped in fig leaves is simply the best. The sweet aroma of the fig leaf when I am toasting the bread transcends reality! Their honey cake is light, creamy, and full of flavour. We also tried their veggie focaccia and veggie cauliflower pizza, both of which were tasty! I love the fact that the owner is an inspiring young woman. When you are there make sure to get a glimpse of the burning wood in their oven right at the end of the shop - Just warms the soul up especially during colder days :)

On a ridiculously rainy day, we mustered up the courage to hit the Cheery Moon general store for our fave sourdough, burnt peanut butter, and cream cheese danish (that was way too rich for our taste buds), plus a cinnamon bun that saved the day. The place was packed to the gills and finding an empty table was like finding a needle in a haystack, and to top it off, they refused to warm up our freshly baked goodies. But hey, it was a gloomy Saturday and we still scored our beloved sourdough and peanut butter, so we're calling it a win!

A local favourite. Everything is baked fresh. We love buying the sourdough for home. Pastrami focaccias are delicious. The berry cake is super yum! Laid back place with mainly inner west locals. They also sell flowers and basic groceries (ham, cheese, jam, butter etc )

Cherry Moon has some fantastic savoury pastries. The pork and fennel sausage roll was a standout — perfectly flaky pastry with a fresh, well-spiced filling. The salami toastie was also excellent, made even better by the amazing focaccia bread, which was even more delicious when toasted.

Charming cafe on a quiet road serving delicious woodfired eats and excellent coffee, plus some deli items from their kitchen. The mishmash of seats, stools, tables and other places to sit contribute to an artisanal, local atmosphere which the food backs up. Everything I have tried on the frequently changing menu is yummy and also just that bit different. Savoury scone cinnamon scroll croissant . Take a stroll around the heritage neighbourhood after! Extra love for the Prince reference in the name.
